Otago
The Otago Exercise Program is an evidenced-based exercise program typically led by a physical therapist for approximately 8 weeks, in an outpatient clinic or home setting. Follow-up self-care continues with exercises at home. It is recommended particularly for older adults who are more likely to have a fall, are afraid of falling and for those who have already had a fall in the last year. Many health insurances will cover this.
